ACCIDENTS

Every accident in the school building, on school grounds, at practice sessions, or at any athletic event or other extra curricular activities sponsored by the school must be reported immediately to the person in charge.

ARRIVIAL AND DISMISSAL

Students transported by school buses arrive and depart school at the scheduled times. Students who are not transported by school bus should not arrive on campus prior to 7:10 a.m. nor remain later than 3:10 p.m.For the safety of all students, it is imperative that you pick your child up by the designated time. Supervision is not available before and after the indicated times. Failure to comply with school procedure will result in administrators contacting the Montgomery Sheriff’sDepartment.

When students arrive, they will report outside in the designated areas. During inclement weather, students will report to the gym. Only buses are allowed on the bus lane located in the back of the school.Visitor parking is available in front of the main building. Parking is not allowed within 10 feet of the fire hydrant.

ASSEMBLIES/DANCES/ATHLETIC SPECTATOR EVENTS

A student’s conduct in assemblies, dances, and athletic events must meet the same standard as in the classroom. Behavior problems at assemblies, dances, and athletic events may result in the student being asked to leave and/or possible suspension from future assemblies, dances, or athletic events. Remember, when you are attending a school-sponsored activity, you are under school jurisdiction and are subject to all rules and regulations listed in the Montgomery County Board of Education Code of Conduct.

At the end of school dances, athletic events, or any school event it is imperative that parents or guardians be on time to pick up their sons and daughters. It is the parents’ responsibility to pick up the student on time; failure to do so will result in the student being prohibited from school sponsored activities and athletic events in the future.

The following will apply during all assembly programs:

Seating arrangements will be under the supervision of the faculty, staff, and administration.

Students will sit in their assigned sections.

Each teacher will be responsible for monitoring the behavior of the students during the program.
