Montgomery Public Schools/Child Nutrition Program is participating in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) of the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act for the 2015-2016 school year. Children attending any of the schools within Montgomery Public Schools, will receive breakfast and lunch at no charge. All students enrolled in the school system may participate in the School Breakfast Program (SBP) and the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) at no charge to them.

Studies have shown that children who are not hungry perform better in school. By providing breakfast and lunch to all children at no charge, we are hoping to create a better learning environment for our students.

The school breakfast and lunch that we serve follows the U.S. Department of Agriculture guidelines for healthy school meals. The Community Eligibility Provision cannot succeed without your support; please encourage your children to participate in the school meal programs.

One breakfast and one lunch meal will be served to all students at no charge regardless of the eligibility status. Additional student meals will be charged the normal price of $1.00 for student breakfast, $1.75 for Elementary student lunch, and $2.00 for Junior and High School student lunch. A la carte item prices will also remain the same. Faculty meals will remain $1.75 for breakfast and $2.75 for lunch. Adult visitor meals will remain $2.50 for breakfast and $3.75 for lunch.
